Octopus egg hatching🐙 Visit here for more👉🏻 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyVYAa4HKQJUwvE6cCvhD3A?sub_confirmation=1 by octonation
The hatching of baby octopodes is a bitterweet moment. In most species, a female’s first batch of eggs is also her last. Octopus mothers can spend months meticulously protecting and cleaning the eggs without feeding the whole time, and usually die soon after the babies are born. The longest period of brooding ever recorded in any animal was carried by an octopus and lasted 53 months, or almost 5 years. The mother apparently never ate and progressively deteriorated throughout this period, but eventually the eggs safely hatched.
